Uniyal, an Astrologer, Astro Physician & Scientist practicing in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India as well as abroad is the visiting Professor at the Medical University, Colombo. He has been conferred upon the DOON RATNA award by the citizen’s council of Dehradun , India & recommended to the Government of India for PADMA SHREE AWARD by the State Government. of Uttarakhand . He has earned various National & International laurels in recognition his research work in Astrological Science. He developed new theories in this field of Astrology with the combination of Astro Physics, Astronomy ,Chemistry, Bio Medical Science , Geography,Geology & other applicable sciences. He touched all the field of Astrology and guided people accordingly. Recently he received the International Award of KNIGHT HOOD as KNIGHT COMMANDER & the title of “”SIR”” by the Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta in recognition of his global contribution in the Astro medical field. He was born on 2nd July, 1959 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. His father late Shri Uday Ram Uniyal was a teacher. He has achieved his educational qualifications from abroad with a Bachelor’s degree in Astro Medicine, MD, DM,Ph.D,D.Sc,D.Litt, D.Ed etc. He is the first person in Uttarakhand State who has eight doctoral degrees. Since 1987 he has been providing his services to the United Nations with the help of Medicina Alternative & the Open International University in the field of medicine. He is the member of the UNESCO club & Rotary club Dehradun west where he held the position of Vice President for the year 2007-2008..

Dr. Sir Uniyal submitted his research work in the field of Astro medical science under the guidance of late Prof. Dr.Sir Anton Jayasuriya the then Dean of the Open International University for complementary medicine, Colombo, Sri Lanka to the said University (which is established under United Nations peace university constituted under in resolution no.35/55/5/XII/1980) in the year 1987 & after that he has been a part of this International University as a research scholar, life member & Visiting Professor. His contributions in the field of Astro medical science & Astrological Science has earned him the following educational degrees & International awards.
