Lorraine Valente is a professional counseling astrologer and has had an interest in astrology and psychology since the age of 10. Her interest in Psychology and Metaphysics continued throughout college where her Psychology major concentrated on the study of abnormal and deviant behavior. Her expertise is primarily in the areas of relationshipsie: Compatibility, Karmic Astrology including the Soul Mate and Twin Soul concepts, Personality, Career/Vocational counseling, Addictions and Sexuality in the birth chart. In later years, Lorraine utilized personality testing in the field of Human Resources in the interviewing and hiring process. Her Human Resources Certificate is from Cornell University (ILR) International Labor Relations and well as a Generalist Certificate from The Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). Since 1995, her concentration has been in combining her knowledge of Psychology, Astrology, Tarot symbolism and utilizing these modalities in the counseling process. Reading Tarot and utilizing numerology techniques and symbolism is incorporated to provide a more detailed counseling.

Her involvement with an online support group on America Online (AOL) for Online Addiction and Cyber Affairs lasted for 1 1/2 years. During that time she counseled over 300 people online. She also consulted as Internet Researcher and Personnel Recruiter (Integrated Staffing Resources, Inc.)

Lorraine teaches a Astrology classes and has been a speaker in Radio and for Women's Spiritual groups. Lorraine also a certified Reiki Levels I, II and Advanced Level III healing practitioner and has been a Reiki volunteer at the local SPCA.

Lorraine has lectured on Karmic Relationships, Borderline Personality Disorder and Cyber Addictions/Adultery at the 2003 AFA Conference.  She is a member of the American Federation of Astrologers (AFA), National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR), The Magi Society, The International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR) and Carl Jung Foundation.

WHEN 33-year-old Dion van Zyl walks outside on his Alverstone farm at night, it’s the skies his eyes are drawn to. Dion’s eyes can spot planets amid constellations that, tracking their course though the years - they are his inspiration and stir in him the deep passion for Astrology. Born into the family Engineering firm, Dion says he was obviously the odd one out.

Susan Vega is an executive board member of the South Florida Astrological Association. She has been involved in the study of astrology, tarot and other spiritual endeavors since the 1970s, but embarked on an intense study of astrology 1990.
