American
College of Vedic Astrology (ACVA)
The ACVA was established in 1999. It is a non profit educational
organization that is dedicated to promoting Vedic astrology (Jyotish,
Hindu). Classes, correspondence courses and seminars are offered
to students and certification as a professional Vedic astrologer is
granted after successful completion of the curriculum

Federation of Astrologers (AFA)

The AFA is the oldest Astrology organization in the United States.
It was established in 1938 and serves a membership of over 3500.
Membership is open to all interested parties, laymen and professional
alike. It offers an astrology study program and tests for
certification. It also serves as a retail outlet for astrology
books.

for Psychological Astrology
Founded in 1987 by Glenn Perry, Ph.D., the Association for Psychological
Astrology is dedicated to the integration of astrology and psychology.
Its purpose is to enhance the credibility of astrology in the mental
health professions by seeking to establish general guidelines,
principles, and professional standards for the application of
astrology to the fields of counseling and psychotherapy. APA
offers classes, workshops, books and tapes on psychological
astrology, and a masters and doctoral degree program in psychological
astrology. Also available is a mentorship program, which is a
personalized course in natal chart interpretation from a depth,
psychological perspective. There are no fees for joining APA.

Association
of Professional Astrologers International (APAI)
The Association of Professional Astrologers International was
formed in 1990 to meet the growing demand for professional work of the
highest standard. Our consultants offer a confidential astrological
service which follows the guidelines of the APAI Code of Ethics. A
copy of the code, together with the details of the qualifications required
for professional acceptance by the APAI can be obtained from the APAI
secretary at 0800 0746 113 or
astrologersharon@aol.com. A full up-to-date membership list is
maintained on the APAI website. It is the only astrology organization
to offer insurance for it's members.

Association for Young Astrologers (AYA)
AYA is committed to providing educational opportunities for anyone
interested in astrology, with a focus on outreach to young people
discovering astrology. We believe that bringing youth into astrology is
vital and necessary. Our group stands in full support of young
astrologers and offers a community where they can learn and be inspired.
AYA offers long distance learning classes as well as personal
mentorship.

Astrological
Association (AA)
The AA of Great Britain was formed by a group of astrologers from the
Astrological Lodge, which had been founded by Alan Leo in 1915.
The two most prominent members were John Addey, who originated the
theory of harmonics, and Roy Firebrace, the sidereal astrologer and
founder of the magazine, Spica. They were backed by Charles Carter
and many other prominent Lodge members. The founding members' main
purpose was to bring astrology out of the fringe and into society's
mainstream. Throughout the sixties and seventies the AA pursued a
triple track programme, encouraging philosophical depth, psychological
understanding and scientific research. Today the AA has about
1,600 members, 1,000 in the UK and the rest around the world. The
AA organizes seminars and an annual conference. It issues four
publications including the Journal, (published six time a year) a forum
for high quality debate and discussion, Correlation, an academic
level bi-annual journal on astrological research and the Medical
Astrology Newsletter which is the only journal in the world devoted to

Astrological
Lodge of London (ALL)
Established by Alan Leo in 1915 to benefit astrology in all it's forms.
It holds meetings in London on Mondays during term-time and also
organizes a variety of seminars and workshops. It's publication -
Astrology Quarterly - is free to members.
British
Association for Vedic Astrology (BAVA)
The British Association for Vedic Astrology was founded by Andrew Foss
and Komilla Sutton. The founding Patrons were the late Dr. B.V.
Raman, founder Chairman of the Indian Council of Astrological Sciences
and Dr. David Frawley, well-known author, President of the American
Council for Vedic Astrology and founder of the American Institute of
Vedic Studies. Dr. Frawley continues as patron. BAVA has an
advisory council of leading international scholars and a strong
association with the ACVA, the American College of Vedic Astrology.
The BAVA is a non-profit organization that promotes knowledge of Vedic
Astrology through regular lectures, workshops seminars and

The Company is the home of DIVINATORY ASTROLOGY, and seeks to
establish a modern craft-based discipline of traditional astrology which
acknowledges astrology's connections with psychotherapy and contemporary
philosophy as well as re-examining horoscopy in the light of divination.
It runs a range of courses and seminars, mainly London based, covering
various aspects of natal, horary and mundane astrology, plus additional
study programmes in other forms of divination, especially Tarot and I
Ching. In the theory and practice of astrology, the COA offers a
range of certificate and diploma qualifications, as well as 'Katarche',
a horary astrology correspondence course.
Its public seminars are held fortnightly in Hampstead. The Company publishes an email Bulletin as part of its Friends of
the Company scheme.

The
Cosmobiology Research Foundation, Inc.
The Cosmobiology Research Foundation is a non-profit organization
dedicated to teaching the principles of Cosmobiology founded by the late
Reinhold Ebertin who established the practice of using the 90 degree
dial and midpoint configurations. His contemporary, Eleonora Kimmel,
founded the CRF in 1972 to further the work of her mentor. Today
the CRF continues in the spirit of Reinhold Ebertin and
employs Cosmobiology techniques in many new and exciting ways.
They boost an international membership including some of the most sought
after astrological experts in the world. They print a journal that is
published three times and year and hold a conference every two years.
A correspondence course is available with a certification of
completion.
Federation
of Australian Astrologers (FAA)
The Federation of Australian Astrologers was formed in 1971 and is a non
profit making body. The FAA was formed to promote friendly contact
between astrologers throughout Australia supporting the National Code of
Ethics for astrologers; to conduct examinations; and to encourage and
publish the results of research in the fields of astrology.

Society for Astrological Research (ISAR)
Established in 1968, ISAR is an international organization of
professional astrologers dedicated to establishing high standards
of quality in the astrology community. The promotion of research and creating a strong data resource base is a primary objective.
ISBA
The International Society of Business Astrologers
ISBA is the first International organization of professional business
and financial astrologers. Operating within a strict code of ethics,
ISBA provides an interactive network with information exchange for
full-time professional business astrologers and others with a serious
interest in astrology. ISBA continually offers
newsletters, articles on astrological work and research, conferences,
courses, literature, lecture videos etc. on our web site. ISBA
currently numbers 100 members from 18 countries worldwide.
ISBA has several forms of membership and is open to both
professional astrologers and non-astrologers.
National
Council for Geocosmic Research, Inc. (NCGR)
The NCGR is the considered the educational and research organization for
the astrology community. There are over 40 chapters that are
active throughout the U.S. and world and it has over 3000 members. It
was founded in 1971 and has provided quality astrology education
including an online college and certification at four levels of
