Spring has sprung at least in our region and everything is blooming including our allergies! It's nice to have the nice weather in any case.

Well what do you think of the wild ride the planets have us on so far? The news is certainly a reflection of what is going on in the cosmos. The Uranus Pluto square we have been enduring will continue through this month of May. The Boston bombing was a perfect example of this. Key words for the negative manifestation of these two is: acts of violence, upsets, subversive activities, a gun to the head. Unfortunately, we see more of the negative than the positive side described as the attainment of great objectives by an immense effort, the bringing of new things into being or the creation of a new condition of living. This one was in our back yard but the whole planet is experiencing a great deal of upheaval. Everyone wrap your heads and hearts around the positive interpretation in an effort to change the violent vibration.

We are beginning the first week of this month with with a Saturn and Mars square. This is a bit like driving with the brake on so have a little patience if projects seem to be at a stop still. Have a little compassion too because we see a lot of buried anger coming out unexpectedly under this transit as well. This will pass. Stay cool.

Mars is in Taurus all month so our actions will be geared to the more practical areas of our lives. It's a good time to take action where finances are concerned especially if you are planning some home improvement. Money matters this month and moving forward with your financial plans is a must. Mercury in Taurus for the first half of the month should center much of this around contracts and correspondence. Venus is in Taurus until the 9th so some upgrading to your home furnishings may in order. Venus likes luxury so don't let her bust your budget! Both planets go into Gemini for the remainder of the month adding a social vibration that is great for getting in touch with family and friends and possibly doing a little travel as well. It's barbecue time folks so invite the family over.

Neptune will stay at 5 degrees of Pisces all month, actually holding there through mid July. It is doing a solo trip without any real aspects to the major planets so you will have to look to your charts to see if you are experiencing the transit. If it's aspecting your Sun or Asc. you may feel a drain of energy and if so, get some extra rest. This will occur if it aspects Mars as well. On the MC it tends to lend us a certain amount of either vision or confusion on where we are going in life. Let your imagination take you to some new ideas and dreams but lean on Saturn, that is making a trine aspect to Neptune, to balance this with reality and a practical plan. It's actually a good combination but it doesn't carry a lot of force so you need to nurture it if you plan to use the energy to your advantage.

We have eclipses this month. The New Moon eclipse on the 10 is at 19 Taurus close to Mars which can give us an opportunity to start a new project. Just be practical where the financing is concerned and avoid rushing into something without all the facts.

The Full Moon eclipse is on the 25th at 4 Sag making a square to Neptune. This can certainly herald the end to any creative projects you may have been involved in or a signal to let it go and get on to something more tangible. Your call. Sometimes we need a reality check!
